We found a house that interested us, and we went after it with the sale of our home contingent on the deal. Mike controlled the entire deal with the other agent. He had the home inspection done ASAP. After the report, we found some work that needed to be done. The other agent pushed for Mike to put our house on the market. Mike knew our house would sell quickly and refused to list it until we had a signed agreement. After a painstaking process of asking them to repair a minimal number of nonfunctional items, Mike suggested we needed to know, deep down, if this was the house we wanted. We chose to cancel our offer. Our house was saved because Mike never put ours on the market. Mike put our wishes before a paycheck. Timber Ghost will be our Realtors for life.
